Mounts

Auto mounts are also different part numbers then the manual including the timing mount. The 5 speed timing mount can be used with no issues. When it comes to the rest of the mounts you do need the mounts and brackets auto variants. The front and rear mount for 1G are also different then 2g. On 1G the front and rear mounts mount to the block and on the 2g they mount to the transmission. The transmission mount and bracket should match the body of the car. The only parts that actually have identification numbers on them are the front and rear brackets.

Well which ones do i need? The front and rear brackets and roll stops should be the auto variant of the car its going in. 1G front and rear brackets and roll stops mount to the block whereas on a 2G they both mount to the transmission. If you have a 2G transmission and a 2G shell then you obviously need to run 2G front and rear brackets and roll stops. If your putting a 1G trans in a 2G car then you will need custom brackets and roll stops. If your running a 2G transmission in a 1G car then you will need 1G front and rear brackets and roll stops.

Transmission roll stop should match the transmission. and the bracket should match the car.

The front and rear mount brackets are stamped with the last 3 of the part number. Here is a list of all of the brackets so you can differentiate them.
