 +==== Stock 6 Bolt Converter ====

 +Alot can be said about the stock torque converters. They will take a beating and are good at putting down alot of power because of how tight they are. However you run into issues with ballooning the converter and the lack of bolt holes for converter bolts. Bolts can be an issue with these. Also they arent easy to stall up at all without the use of nitrous. There are two converters out there. The difference internal is unknown currently (so if you know then please tell me) but the bolt threads are different between the two.

 +FIXME There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text.

 +==== Flexplate to Torque Converter Bolts ====
 +{{ http://w4a33.com/images/arptqconvbolt.jpg?133x200}}
 +The stock bolts are high maintenance as the vibration is going to make them back out and this is a royal pain in the ass. You can use the stock bolts and alot of red loctite but they will eventually still back out at power levels 500HP and above. So you can either add Nord Lock washers with the stock bolts or you can use ARP bolts. ARP doesnt make a converter bolt kit for our cars. However there is a solution. There are select GM automatic transmissions use the same bolt that ours does except its a little longer. **__You will have to cut the threaded side down in order to use them.__**

 +These are only compatible with stock converter bolts. There is not enough clearance for the ARP bolt heads and the nordlock to work.

 +==== Bradco Engineering Converters ====
 +{{ http://w4a33.com/images/bradcoconverter.jpg?207x200}}
 +Bradco is a company that has been making converters for Mitsubishis since shortly after the automatic transmission became a big deal. Their converters are Black in color. Thats their trademark like many converter companies in the industry all have their color. Bradco worked closely with Cdub Racing before they moved to the fox body platform with RWD transmissions. Together they developed their converter program out for Mitsubishis. Bradco has recently completed development of the new billet drive covers for dsm converters. This unit features a fully welded ring gear, and has all 8 mounting holes to match the Kiggly flex plate. The billet cover is available for our 8" and 9" converters. Matched with our steel stators, fully furnace brazed and hand welded blades, and the industry's only mechanical diode, we have eliminated all compromises that previously plagued the dsm racer with an automatic transmission. These converters are available for both 1G and 2G transmissions and are offered in non lockup only.
 +==== JB Designs / Precision Industries Converters ====
 +{{ http://w4a33.com/images/precisionconverter.jpg?200x200}}
 +Precision Industries builds and ships out custom-made high stall torque converters for racing, performance, and car enthusiasts all over the world. They are known for their high quality work and high performance custom torque converters. The difference between PI and competitors is always apparent on the racetrack and on the road. Everything from start to finish is built to order so that PI can give you the best products the industry offers.
 +
 +Precision converters are pinkish-purple in color. Thats their trademark like many converter companies in the industry all have their color. Precision Industries is a well known converter company in the domestic world so its no suprise after working extensively with Jeffrey Bush they managed to come up with a converter that is very competitive. To obtain a Precision Converter you need to go through J Bush Designs. Precision will not deal mitsubishi converters around them as they are the sole distributor. They were also the one who worked with precision to develop the converter. So just to be clear everything goes through J Bush Designs when it comes to buying, support, restalls, etc. These converters are available for both 1G and 2G transmissions and are offered in non lockup only.
 +
 +NOTE: These ARE NOT drop in for 1g transmissions. You will need to get with Jeff Bush and he has a kit for these to work in 1G and likely keeps the parts stocked. All of JBs converters are 2G converters. To run the larger 2G converter you need to space the transmission away from the block. JB does have a plate that does precisely this. You will also need either a stock axle intermediate shaft or you can get a 300M axle intermediate shaft from Jeff Bush.
